I game because I didn’t have many close-by friends, and the ones I did have lived far away, often in another state. It’s more than just playing; it’s how I stay close to people who matter to me. And when I play well, and my friends cheer me on, it lifts me up. It boosts my confidence and reminds me I’m not alone.
