About Qudrat Aha

Qudrat Aha is an unschooler, filmmaker, and multi-disciplinary artist whose life has been an evolving canvas of curiosity, freedom, and creation. Growing up without the constraints of traditional schooling, Qudrat began exploring India on his own before the age of 8—a journey that shaped his sense of independence, responsibility, and wonder. Raised in an environment where learning was led by passion, his early years were filled with experiences that would later define his unique approach to art, life, and storytelling.
From a very young age, he immersed himself in the world of hands-on creativity. He developed skills across a wide range of forms—painting, sketching, doodling, origami, photography, filmmaking, music composition, and even skateboarding. His inclination to explore was matched by his determination to master. At 12, he launched his own YouTube channel, Ahabandhu, where he shared original short films and experimental visuals that reflected his evolving worldview. This platform became his digital playground—a place to reflect, experiment, and connect.
Over the years, Qudrat has been making films for Corporates, NGOs, and Movements. He has collaborated with numerous national and international brands, including Red Bull, Urban Monkey, Mokobara, Baazmania, Wildcraft, Fastrack, Bacardi India, Nat Geo, Sugi, Miss Behavin, Hocco, Fyro, Kidiki, Bummer etc. His storytelling approach—raw, real, and visually poetic—has also led him to work closely with individual artists and influencers like Aruv Jain, Ahilya, Srilaxmi, Shashwat Bulusu, Shibani and Era. His creative projects have been featured by Decathlon, the Gujarat government, and cultural hubs like Glade One and Atlantis Enclave. He continues to build a creative identity that stands at the intersection of art and authenticity.
A strong believer in alternative ways of learning, he also facilitates workshops for children and parents on topics ranging from creative expression to the philosophy of unschooling. His sessions often blend storytelling, film, craft, and hands-on art into immersive experiences that invite participants to reconnect with their inner playfulness. Whether doodling with kids or teaching film techniques to teens, his workshops are less about instruction and more about inspiration.
Currently, he plays a central role in the Playfull Parenting Community, where he leads video content creation and contributes to community workshops.
As one of the co-authors of Parenting with a Smile, Qudrat brings his lived wisdom as an unschooler and storyteller. His voice reflects the dreams of a generation raised differently—more intuitively, more creatively, and more playfully. He believes parenting isn’t just about raising children—it's also about reimagining life, one playful moment at a time.
