About Divya Pritwani
Divya Pritwani is an incubation leader, entrepreneur, and community development catalyst with a rich professional journey across India and the UAE. With a dual-country postgraduate management degree from IMT Ghaziabad and a strong foundation in commerce from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata, Divya’s expertise lies in connecting people, ideas, and opportunities across diverse ecosystems. His career has been driven by one core belief: true progress comes from nurturing communities with empathy, vision, and sustainable impact.
Professionally, he has held dynamic leadership roles in India’s startup landscape. As CEO of the Atal Incubation Centres at both the Indian School of Business and Manipal University Jaipur, he enabled the growth of 25+ startups, 15+ corporate partners, raised over ₹2 crores in funding, built strong mentor and investor networks, and supported MSMEs, large enterprises and student entrepreneurs alike.
As an independent consultant, he worked with leading platforms to strengthen India’s startup and academic ecosystems. At the Internet and Mobile Association of India (IAMAI), he led the Mobile 10x incubation program supporting 25+ startups, managed a tech community of over 1,000 developers, and handled the liaisoning with the Government of Chhattisgarh on funding and program initiatives. At Venture Catalysts, he built and managed a network of 100+ HNIs and Angel Investors, curated monthly pitch days, masterclasses for angel investors and helped raise ₹1.2 crores in startup funding. He also worked closely with K.K. Modi University, enabling 30+ corporate tie-ups and organizing high-impact industry interaction seminars.
He is also an entrepreneur at heart. He has co-founded ventures in construction materials (Atthumal Contractor) and food products (Fusion Foods), applying his business development skills to drive growth and innovation from the ground up.
Beyond his consulting work, he has been an active volunteer and mentor in the startup movement. As the Founding Chapter Director of Headstart Raipur, he played a key role in scaling up many tier 2 and tier 3 city chapters across India. His efforts in community-building, government liaisoning, and grassroots mentoring have enabled over 200 startups to access networks, guidance, and growth opportunities. His teaching and mentoring roles at IIM Raipur, NIT Raipur, and ITM University reflect his commitment to cultivating changemakers.
As the co-founder of Playfull, Divya blends his entrepreneurial wisdom with his parenting path. As a co-creator of the Playfull parenting ecosystem, he shapes the platform’s strategic vision, builds partnerships, and strengthens community engagement—ensuring that the same innovation he brought to startups now reaches families seeking joyful, playful parenting experiences. His presence keeps Playfull rooted in values while scaling with purpose.
